Central Market Passport Greece

An experiential store event infused in celebrating Greek culture, style and cuisine.

The marketing team at Central Market documented their first-hand tour of Greece that inspired our creative collaboration with the Plot Twist creative team. Each year, upscale Texas grocer Central Market’s signature Passport event features a different country, and celebrates the food and culture of that country during a two-week festival in their stores. For Passport Greece, Central Market brought in unique foods, drinks, and kitchen and dining products from all over Greece, offered cooking classes tailored to Greek cuisine taught by famous Greek chefs, and filled their prepared food and chef’s cases with Greek dishes and desserts.

As the focus, Central Market wanted to showcase the beautiful, fresh, colorful food they curated from all around Greece. To accompany the photography library shot by Manny Rodriguez, we created a custom typeface, inspired by the Greek alphabet, and an icon set to be used in-store and online.
